This stunning Googong House was an HIA Finalist for two awards. Custom Built Home $350,001-$500,00 and GreenSmart Energy Efficiency Home of the Year. Nestled in a newly developed township, the Googong House with its skillion roof and north facing glazing, exudes a minimalism that defines the entire project. A central courtyard allows northern light to enter deep into the home and provides good cross ventilation throughout. This combined with Passive House technology has created a very comfortable and liveable residence.

Bella Vie Interiors was engaged to work with D3 Projects to bring to life the vision of two young Canberrans, who were inspired by the UK to create high quality, quick service burgers. Their simple menu philosophy with an emphasis on food and drink pairings and quality local produce is delivered in a pared back minimalist fit-out. Polished concrete, timber, stainless steel and an abundance of glass deliver an authenticity aligned with their brand positioning.

This classic Queenslander home in Red Hill, was a major renovation and therefore an opportunity to meet the family’s needs. With three active children, this family required a space that was as functional as it was beautiful, not forgetting the importance of it feeling inviting.
