The Design Process
We provide clarity, confidence, and creativity as we walk you through each step of the home renovation design process for an easy and enjoyable experience.
The first step is to schedule a complimentary discovery call. This gives you the chance to get an understanding of how we work, and who we are, while we get to know you and the scope of your project.
Knowing the next steps will help put your mind at ease and build your confidence that our service is the right fit for you and your project.
Once we decide to work together we have our first formal consult. A 2 hour Design Consultation where we talk about what you do and don’t love about your space, how you live, and importantly, how you want to live.
Design Consultation Fee: $660
At this stage on-site measurements and photos are taken, and a final design assessment is made to form the client brief.
During the design phase we gather and refine ideas to develop a unique design concept for your home. This is when the bulk of the creative thinking, detailed documenting and costing for your project takes place. We present you with final design drawings, specifications and estimates taking your project a step closer to being a reality. This is charged at a fixed cost, determined by your scope and requirements.
Following approval of the designs, we move into the Execute Phase. Design fees are charged slightly differently here, as an ongoing rate. This stage includes;
- Liaising with all trades and suppliers on the design, timeline and budget
- Procurement of all finishes, materials, fittings, furniture and soft furnishings
- Regular site visits to oversee any build works
- Co-ordinating the delivery of all items
- A final reveal at the very end when all the furniture is in place
- Managing any defects or damage
- Providing you with all the relevant care, warranty and maintenance info for each product specified
Finally, on installation day, the design becomes a reality. Now you can simply begin enjoying a space that is truly you.
