Originally the Governor’s Residence, this grand Queenslander offered generous proportions and heritage charm — but as a newly purchased home for a family of six, it needed a thoughtful decorative approach to feel truly theirs.
With soaring ceilings, expansive rooms, and traditional detailing throughout, our focus was on softening the scale and creating inviting, functional spaces that reflect the family’s lifestyle. Through layered textures, tailored furnishings, and a cohesive palette of soft blues, olive greens, and natural tones, we brought warmth, comfort, and a true sense of home to every corner.
A mix of classic pieces, subtle pattern, and elegant detailing lends a timeless feel, while durable materials and practical layouts support the rhythms of daily life with four children and one very cute puppy. From relaxed family zones to calm, restful bedrooms, the finished home feels both elevated and lived-in — a beautiful blend of tradition and heart.
